Janette Keiko Kawasuji, Jazz Vocalist and bandleader, winner of the 1st Kobe Jazz Vocal Contest  in 2001. At the top of her game as both a singer and radio DJ Janette has a wealth of experience on stage in front of audiences.

Her performances are not only entertaining from a music perspective but also from being spiced by her quick wit and short stories of life and observations thereof.

After winning the Grand Prize in the 1st annual Kobe Jazz Vocal Contest her career took off and she was invited to perform at various jazz clubs on the west coast of USA.

Janette has three solo albums released to date.
