Yasutaka Yorozu

Yasutaka Yorozu was born and raised in the culture capital of Kyoto [Japan], home to recent progressive, cutting-edge crossover-jazz producers such as Kyoto Jazz Massive among others. He was first introduced to the world of music early on by his father, a devout blues fan and musician alike.

Although, at first choosing to go with the guitar he soon decided to make the change to the acoustic bass and jazz. A talent both technically and musically, he was soon known among fellow musicians to be able to cross into new genres, leaving his unique mark on the music he performed.

With his creative and progressive musicianship, Yorozu continues to blur music and genre borders. This, his boundary dissolving work, has most recently expressed itself through his work together with Steve Hanuman and Flow33.
